Gala Games Announces 'Stars & Sweets' Weekly Competition in Common Ground World
Gala Games launches the 'Stars & Sweets' competition in Common Ground World, inviting players to craft and sell Starlight Market Boxes for rewards from July 2-5.
Gala Games has announced an exciting new weekly competition titled 'Stars & Sweets' in its popular game, Common Ground World. The event will run from July 2 at 10 AM PT to July 5 at 10 AM PT, challenging players to craft and sell Starlight Market Boxes for enticing rewards, according to Gala News.
Event Details
Participants are tasked with creating Starlight Market Boxes, which contain Boom Canes, Honey, and Apple Pie. These items can be crafted in the Boxing Facility and stored in the Warehouse. The crafting process for each box takes 60 seconds and remains unaffected by other factors.
The Starlight Market Box will have standard values of $125,000 and 8,448 Stars. However, during the 'Stars & Sweets' event, these boxes will have meta values of $75,000 and 75,000 Stars.
Rewards and Boosts
This competition is a guild event, meaning guilds will compete for rewards, which will be distributed based on performance. Gala Games has indicated that all guilds will likely be reset after the event, requiring re-formation of guilds for future competitions.
During the event, players can take advantage of various boosts:
- Corn Starch: $2300 to $6000
- Apple Pie: $40,250 to $100,000
- Starlight Market Box: 75,000 Stars

Gala Games has also provided a sneak peek into future weekly events:
- July 9-12: Chocolate Ice Cream
- July 16-19: A new Cake or Pie

Special Items
The event introduces the Helping Beehive (Epic), priced at $249.99 with a limited supply of 500 units. This item features 2 Bees that work twice as fast and sometimes store crafts directly into Storages.
Additionally, players can purchase Rose Bushes, which offer movement speed boosts for town units. These bushes can be stacked up to 16 deep on a single game tile, providing a significant speed boost. Rose Bush Blind Collector’s Packs are available for $24.99 each.

Gala Games will hold its next bi-weekly Town Hall on July 5 at 8 AM PT on the Gala Games YouTube channel, where players can tune in for the latest updates and submit questions.
