BNB Chain has announced an exciting opportunity for the blockchain community to participate in selecting the BIA winner at the upcoming DevCon event in Bangkok. Participants will share a $1,000 reward in BNB, according to BNB Chain.
Event Details and Participation
The voting session is set to take place during the Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai. Participants will have the chance to influence which project secures a spot in the prestigious Most Valuable Builder Accelerator Program. The event will be streamed live on BNB Chain’s official channels, including X, YouTube, and Binance Live.
To participate, viewers must watch the live pitching session and submit their votes via an online form provided during the event. The pitching session will be divided into two segments on November 13th, with voting open until November 15th, and the winner announcement on November 19th.
Voting Process and Criteria
The voting process involves both online and on-site components. Online and on-site voting will each contribute a weightage of 1/13, while the majority of the decision, 11/13, will be determined by on-site judges. Judges will evaluate projects based on several criteria, including the sustainability of the project's operating model, the excellence of the founding team, innovation, and potential contribution to the BNB Chain ecosystem.
Incentives and Rewards
As an added incentive, 20 random community members who participate in the voting process will each receive $50 in BNB. This initiative not only encourages community engagement but also provides an opportunity for participants to have a tangible impact on the future of blockchain innovation.
