Binance, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has confirmed its support for the upcoming network upgrades and hard forks of Neutron (NTRN) and Optimism (OP). This announcement aims to ensure a seamless experience for its users during these significant technical updates.
Details of the Neutron (NTRN) Upgrade
According to Binance, the Neutron (NTRN) network upgrade is scheduled to occur at the block height of 12,255,555, which is estimated to be around July 10, 2024, at 14:30 (UTC). To facilitate this upgrade, Binance will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals of NTRN tokens starting from approximately 13:30 (UTC) on the same day.
Details of the Optimism (OP) Upgrade
The Optimism (OP) network upgrade and hard fork are set to take place on July 10, 2024, at approximately 16:00 (UTC). Binance will suspend deposits and withdrawals of OP tokens from 15:00 (UTC) to accommodate this upgrade.
Impact on Trading
Binance has assured its users that the trading of tokens on the Neutron and Optimism networks will not be affected by these upgrades. The exchange will handle all technical requirements for its users, ensuring a smooth transition.
Resumption of Services
Deposits and withdrawals for NTRN and OP tokens will be reopened once the respective networks are deemed stable. Binance has stated that no further announcements will be made regarding the resumption of these services.
