Binance to Support BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) Upgrade and Hard Fork

Binance, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced its support for the upcoming BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) network upgrade and hard fork. This move aims to ensure the best user experience for its customers.

Maintenance Schedule

In preparation for this significant upgrade, Binance will perform wallet maintenance for the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) starting at 07:00 (UTC) on July 9, 2024. As a result, deposits and withdrawals on the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) will be suspended starting from 06:55 (UTC) on the same day. The maintenance is expected to last approximately two hours.

Upgrade and Hard Fork Details

The actual network upgrade and hard fork are scheduled to occur at 06:00 (UTC) on July 14, 2024. Binance will again suspend deposits and withdrawals of tokens on the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) starting from approximately 05:55 (UTC) on July 14.

Impact on Trading

Binance has assured users that the trading of tokens on the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) will not be impacted during the upgrade and hard fork. Additionally, Binance will manage all technical requirements involved, ensuring a smooth transition for all users.
