Crypto Assets Conference 2020B

Ellie Suen Oct 20, 2020 16:00

On October 29-31, 2020, the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center is organizing the Crypto Assets Conference (CAC) for the fourth time. Blockchain technology was born through the invention of Bitcoin and has since then created hundreds of digital assets and spurred the development of business models building on decentralized networks. Together with executives, founders, investors and representatives from public authorities the conference covers both the public blockchain (crypto assets) and the enterprise blockchain domain (DLT). The CAC makes the audience familiar with the current trends in DLT, blockchain and crypto assets.

We initiated the second edition of the Crypto Assets Conference 2020 as we are convinced that the demand for meeting personally, top-quality contacts, constructive exchange, and discussion, especially in times of social distancing due to covid-19, is higher than ever before.

As the CAC is one of the top European crypto conferences, there will be over 30 experts speaking, e.g. from Maker Foundation, German Federal Bank, Members of the German Parliament, Börse Stuttgart, Nägele Attorneys, Deutsche Börse, Fraunhofer, High-tech Gründerfonds, Handelsblatt, Commerzbank, Daimler Mobility, Siemens, Deloitte, etc.

The following topics will be covered at CAC20B:

Day 1 (October 29, 2020): Digital Assets, Securities & Infrastructure

Day 2 (October 30, 2020): Crypto and Custody

Day 3 (October 31, 2020): Digital Euro and Stablecoins

The 3 day long conference will give attendees, such as executives, founders, investors and political representatives the opportunity to analyse the future of blockchain and its implications on the world.

The CAC20B will be held in hybrid mode and this is how it works in detail:

Conference in hybrid mode - online and offline

As we know that being present in Frankfurt might be complicated for some participants and speakers due to the current circumstances, we decided to decouple (i) the presentations, keynotes and panel discussions from (ii) the networking opportunities and booths at the campus of the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Presentations go entirely online with streaming into our Audimax, networking and booths remain physically on campus to allow the industry to gather physically. Nevertheless, enabling our sponsors, speakers, and participants to safely experience the CAC is of highest priority to us.

We plan to allow networking and meeting up on campus under the highest possible standard of hygiene, while the conference will be online, so that no one is excluded from participating. In short: physical networking and a hybrid (remote/physical) conference.

Additionally, in the upcoming months, we will also include all presentations, keynotes and panel discussions into our YouTube channel and the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center Academy.

Participants will get firsthand insights on the latest market developments, trends & research results, completed with valuable discussions and a networking platform that brings together established and new market participants in a professional context.
