According to Joe Tegtmeyer on Twitter, Tesla has delivered new Megapack units to Giga Texas, specifically for the Cortex 2 GPU cluster building that will train the Optimus robot. As reported by Tegtmeyer, 48 out of 62 delivered Megapacks have been installed at Cortex 2 using large-scale Sarens cranes, with capacity for up to three times more units. The total installation could reach approximately 300 Megapacks, potentially making Giga Texas one of the world's largest battery storage sites.
