Spider Tanks Unveils Ferocious T-Rex in Latest Showcase
Gala Games has released a new addition to its popular game, Spider Tanks, featuring the ferocious T-Rex, according to Gala News. This latest showcase delves into the abilities and characteristics of this ancient, fire-breathing beast, which promises to bring a new level of excitement and challenge to the game.
The Ancient Menace
The T-Rex, a terrifying predator from the past, is depicted as a formidable force in the arena. Research by Earthiologists has revealed that these creatures were once bred as pets for human entertainment before breaking free and causing widespread destruction. The T-Rex was known for its massive size and appetite, consuming up to 400 humans a day at the height of its reign.
Despite not being as large as the long-reigning alpha predator, the chicken, the T-Rex still commanded respect and fear. Its powerful anti-matter breath weapon makes it a dominant force in the game, capable of obliterating opponents with ease.
The King: Rex/T-Ray
The T-Rex Hero Tank is composed of the Rex Body, the T-Ray Weapon, and the Prehistoric Skin. The Rex Body is agile and quick, embodying the killer instincts of a true predator. Although it lacks energy gain and durability, it compensates with its speed and precision.
The T-Ray Weapon is unique in the arena, projecting a narrow cone of energy that cannot be stopped by matter. However, this weapon slows down the user's movement and turning motion while firing, leaving them vulnerable. Despite this, any target caught in the beam's path is highly susceptible to damage.
Nowhere to Hide
Enemies have limited options to avoid the T-Ray's beam, needing to either move quickly or retreat. Walls and barriers offer no protection against this weapon, making it a formidable tool in location-based matches such as King of the Hill and Poultry Pusher.
With the right positioning and support from allies, the T-Rex can dominate the battlefield. Its speed allows it to quickly reposition and avoid danger, making it a versatile and deadly opponent.
Mix It Up
The T-Rex's Body and Weapon are versatile, allowing for various combinations. The Rex Body is comparable to the Chicken Body in terms of stats, offering a balance between mobility and durability. For those seeking more energy and bulk, pairing the T-Ray with a medium or heavy Body like Jet or Hurricane can provide additional strategic flexibility.
Using a heavy Body transforms the T-Rex into a stationary turret, providing a different gameplay experience. However, players must be mindful of melee threats and consider equipping defensive measures such as grenades, Relay Drones, or Reactive Plating.
Happy Hunting
The Spider Tanks Showcase provides an in-depth look at the T-Rex's capabilities, encouraging players to experiment with its unique features. Gala Games promises more exciting showcases in the future, with the next spotlight on the Dragon Cave.
