NVIDIA Enhances Digital Marketing with Advanced Generative AI Solutions
NVIDIA has unveiled a comprehensive suite of technologies designed to revolutionize the digital marketing landscape, enabling creative and production services agencies to generate brand-accurate visuals with unprecedented efficiency. According to NVIDIA Blog, these innovations include the integration of generative AI, NVIDIA NIM microservices, NVIDIA Omniverse, and Universal Scene Description (OpenUSD).
Advanced Tools for Creative Production
The new suite offers developers the ability to build applications and workflows that streamline the creation of targeted advertising content. By leveraging the USD Search NIM microservice, artists gain access to a vast archive of OpenUSD-based, brand-approved assets, such as products, props, and environments. This can be further enhanced by integrating with the USD Code NIM microservice, accelerating the assembly of these scenes.
Additionally, the NVIDIA Edify-powered Shutterstock Generative 3D service allows for the rapid generation of new 3D assets using AI. Once constructed, these scenes can be rendered to 2D images and used to direct AI-powered image generators, producing precise and brand-accurate visuals.
Industry Adoption and Impact
Global agencies and production studios are already adopting these technologies to transform the advertising process, from creative production to dynamic creative optimization. For instance, WPP announced at SIGGRAPH the adoption of NVIDIA's technologies, with The Coca-Cola Company being the first brand to embrace generative AI using Omniverse and NVIDIA NIM microservices.
Omniverse Platform's Growing Popularity
The NVIDIA Omniverse development platform has gained significant traction for its ability to create accurate digital twins of products. These virtual replicas enable brands and agencies to develop ultra-photorealistic and physically accurate 3D product configurators, enhancing personalization, customer engagement, and loyalty while reducing return rates.
Digital twins can be updated to meet shifting consumer preferences with minimal time, cost, and effort, thus scaling content production flexibly. Monks, a global marketing and technology services company, has developed Monks.Flow, an AI-centric managed service using the Omniverse platform to help brands explore customizable product designs virtually.
Lewis Smithingham, executive vice president of strategic industries at Monks, stated, “NVIDIA Omniverse and OpenUSD’s interoperability accelerates connectivity between marketing, technology, and product development. Combining Omniverse with Monks’ streamlined services, we infuse AI throughout the product development pipeline, accelerating technological and creative possibilities for clients.”
Expanding Partnerships and Capabilities
Collective World, a creative and technology company, is also an early adopter of NVIDIA's real-time 3D, OpenUSD, and Omniverse technologies. These tools have enabled Collective to create high-quality digital campaigns for clients like Unilever and EE, delivering consistent, high-quality product content at scale.
Building on its use of NVIDIA technologies, Collective World announced at SIGGRAPH its membership in the NVIDIA Partner Network. Similarly, INDG is leveraging Omniverse to introduce new capabilities into Grip, its popular software tool. Grip uses OpenUSD and generative AI to streamline the creation process, delivering high-fidelity marketing content swiftly.
Frans Vriendsendorp, CEO of INDG, remarked, “This integration brings significant efficiencies to every brand by enabling real-time visualization. The combination of Grip and Omniverse is setting new standards in digital content creation.”
For developers looking to build applications and services using OpenUSD, Omniverse, and NVIDIA AI, NVIDIA provides extensive resources and reference architectures to get started.
