The BNB Chain community is set to host an exciting hackathon in Bangkok, taking place from November 9-10, 2024. This two-day event, known as BNB Hack Bangkok, invites developers and innovators to explore the potential of blockchain technology while competing for significant prizes, according to the BNB Chain Blog.

Event Details and Participation

BNB Hack Bangkok will be held at the Rungrojthanakul building in the heart of Bangkok. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in various challenges, including those sponsored by notable partners such as World of Dypians, Seraph, Hooked Protocol, and Cleverse. Community partners like Dorahacks and Developer DAO are also supporting the event.

Registration for the hackathon is open, and participants are encouraged to start their projects early to maximize their chances of success. The hackathon promises a prize pool of up to $230,000, with $218,000 allocated to the BNB Chain Challenge and $12,000 for sponsor challenge tracks.

Challenge Highlights

The hackathon presents several intriguing challenges. One key task is to develop a Telegram Mini App that seamlessly integrates with the BNB Chain, allowing users to engage with decentralized applications through Telegram. Another challenge involves building an innovative trading aggregator to enhance trading efficiency across multiple chains.

Additionally, participants can create an open-source real estate transaction platform on the BNB Chain, aimed at increasing transparency and efficiency in property dealings. The platform should support innovative ownership models and ensure secure, tamper-proof records.

Rewards and Evaluation

The competition will award significant prizes to top-performing teams. The first-place winner will receive $7,000 in USDT, a $100,000 kickstart package, and various development support opportunities. Prizes are also available for second and third places, with additional rewards for meeting sponsor challenges.

Projects must be new and connected to the opBNB/BSC mainnet or testnet, ensuring fair competition. Participants are encouraged to engage with the community and provide detailed documentation to improve their scores.

Judging and Results

The hackathon will conclude with an onsite demo presentation for the top 10 teams. Judges will evaluate submissions based on novelty, functionality, and community engagement. Winners will be announced on the final day of the event, November 10th.

BNB Hack Bangkok represents an opportunity for developers to showcase their skills, collaborate with other innovators, and contribute to the future of blockchain technology. Participants can find more information and register for the event here.
