Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced the addition of EigenLayer (EIGEN) to several of its platforms, including Binance Simple Earn, 'Buy Crypto', Binance Convert, Binance Margin, and Binance Auto-Invest. The integration will occur at various dates and times throughout October 2024.

Earn

Starting from October 2, 2024, at 10:00 UTC, users will be able to purchase EIGEN using any of the payment options supported on Binance Auto-Invest. This addition aims to provide users with more flexibility in managing their crypto assets.

Buy & Sell Crypto

Within one hour of EIGEN being listed on Binance Spot, users can buy EIGEN with VISA, MasterCard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or use their wallet balances on the 'Buy Crypto' page. This move is expected to streamline the purchase process for EIGEN and enhance user experience.

Convert

Users will be able to trade EIGEN against BTC, USDT, and other tokens on Binance Convert at zero fees within one hour of its listing on Binance Spot. This zero-fee trading is designed to attract more users to trade EIGEN seamlessly.

Margin

Binance Margin will introduce EIGEN as a new borrowable asset on both Cross and Isolated Margin. The EIGEN/USDT and EIGEN/FDUSD pairs will be available starting October 1, 2024, at 07:00 UTC. Users can refer to the Margin Data for updated information on marginable assets, collateral ratios, and rates.

Futures

Binance Futures will launch the USDⓈ-M EIGEN Perpetual Contract on October 1, 2024, at 06:00 UTC, offering up to 75x leverage. The initial maximum funding rate is set at +2.00% / -2.00%, with a funding fee settlement frequency every four hours. The contract specifications, including funding fee, tick size, and margin requirements, may be adjusted based on market conditions.
