VeChain Launches Global Hackathon with $30,000 Prize Pool

VeChain has officially launched its Global Hackathon, inviting developers from around the globe to build innovative tools and applications for the VeChain ecosystem. What is the VeChain Global Hackathon?

The VeChain Global Hackathon is an online competition designed to encourage developers to create sustainable applications, AI-powered solutions, and infrastructure tools. Participants will contribute to the advancement of Web3 utility, addressing issues such as social inequalities, environmental impacts, and community support.

Key Dates and Details

The submission period for the hackathon began on September 22, 2025, and will close on October 5, 2025. Winners will be announced on October 13, 2025. Teams of 2-4 members are encouraged to participate, bringing together skills in blockchain development, UI/UX design, and AI integration.

Hackathon Tracks

Participants can choose from three tracks:

• Social Impact: Develop technology solutions to enhance education, healthcare, and community initiatives.
• Economic & Environmental Impact: Create applications that incentivize eco-friendly actions, such as reducing carbon emissions.
• Ecosystem & Technical Innovation: Build tools and platforms to facilitate further development on VeChain.

Judging Criteria

Projects will be evaluated based on four criteria: Innovation and Creativity, Technical Skills, Impact and Feasibility, and Business Model and Research. Each category will contribute 25% to the total score, with a focus on integrating B3TR tokens, VeWorld wallet support, and AI-powered functionalities.
