Transatel, a subsidiary of NTT and a leader in cellular IoT connectivity, has announced a strategic partnership with Oracle Communications to bolster its 5G standalone services. This collaboration aims to enhance Transatel's connectivity offerings for automotive, travel, and industrial applications by utilizing Oracle's cloud native 5G signaling core, according to oracle.com.

The integration of Oracle’s 5G Standalone (SA) core components will enable Transatel to provide secure, scalable, and reliable connectivity for millions of IoT devices. This advancement is crucial for mission-critical applications such as connected vehicles, in-flight connectivity, and industrial automation. Transatel's CEO, Jacques Bonifay, highlighted the importance of secure and high-performance connectivity, stating that Oracle was the ideal partner for this technological evolution.
