Binance, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced plans to delist several USDⓈ-M perpetual contracts, specifically focusing on MAVIAUSDT, OMGUSDT, and BONDUSDT. The delisting process is scheduled for December 16, 2024, at 09:00 (UTC), according to Binance's official announcement.

Details of the Delisting

As part of the delisting process, Binance Futures will close all existing positions and carry out an automatic settlement for the specified contracts. The exchange has advised users to close any open positions before the delisting time to avoid automatic settlement. Furthermore, starting from 08:30 (UTC) on the same day, users will not be allowed to open new positions for these contracts.

Protective Measures and User Guidance

Binance has outlined that, in the event of extremely volatile market conditions, it may implement additional protective measures without further notice. These measures could include adjusting leverage, position values, maintenance margins, and funding rates, as well as updating the price index and employing the Last Price Protected mechanism to update the Mark Price. Users are advised to stay informed about these potential changes to mitigate risks.

Impact on Arbitrage Strategies

The Binance Funding Rate Arbitrage Bot will terminate all arbitrage strategies involving MAVIAUSDT, OMGUSDT, and BONDUSDT symbols at the time of delisting. Consequently, these pairs will no longer be available for initiating new arbitrage strategies post-delisting.
