Adobe has unveiled a series of updates to its Creative Cloud suite at the Adobe MAX conference, incorporating NVIDIA RTX technology to accelerate AI-powered features. This collaboration aims to enhance content creation for video and 3D design, according to the NVIDIA Blog.

AI Innovations in Video Editing

The latest updates to Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects include the introduction of Generative Extend. This feature, currently in beta, uses generative AI to seamlessly extend video clips by adding frames. It utilizes the Firefly Video Model, which is designed to be commercially safe by using content Adobe has permission to employ, thus ensuring that artists can create with confidence.

Additionally, NVIDIA's GeForce RTX GPUs accelerate new Premiere Pro features such as Enhance Speech and AI Audio Category Tagging, which allow editors to cut and modify video scenes more intelligently. The Adobe Firefly Video Model further extends these capabilities by enabling users to create and edit video clips using simple text prompts or images, helping fill in content gaps without the need for reshoots.

Revolutionizing 3D Content Creation

Adobe's Substance 3D Collection apps are set to transform 3D content creation with RTX-accelerated features like ray tracing and AI upscaling. The Substance 3D Viewer, now in open beta, facilitates the integration of 3D files into 2D design workflows, enhancing interoperability with other Adobe apps like Photoshop.

The Substance 3D Collection also incorporates new Adobe Firefly integrations, such as Text to Texture and Image to Texture tools in Substance 3D Sampler. These tools, alongside the Generative Background feature in Substance 3D Stager, leverage generative AI to enhance 3D content creation.

NVIDIA Studio Driver Optimization

Coinciding with Adobe's updates, NVIDIA has announced the release of its October Studio Driver, which optimizes creative applications to run efficiently on RTX hardware. This ensures that users can leverage the full power of RTX GPUs for enhanced performance in creative tasks.

These advancements reflect a significant leap in the capabilities of Adobe's Creative Cloud, offering artists and creators new tools to push the boundaries of their work. With NVIDIA RTX technology at the helm, these AI-powered features promise to revolutionize the way content is created and manipulated.
