Overall rating: B

1) Theme of the Blockchain Event

Score: 3.5/5

The theme of the event is to present novel use cases of blockchain in social good. Mr. Blick and Dr. Lam both presented novel applications of blockchain in supply chain and the society in their personal speech. For the panel discussion, the topics discussed are mostly how to enhance the development of blockchain community.

2) Scale of the Blockchain Event

Score: 3.5/5

There are around 60 participants in the events, including the organizer, guest speakers and general public. Most participants have basic knowledge of blockchain.

3) Amount of Promotional Content

Score: 3/5

Considering the promotional content, the keynote from Diginex and Shanzhai City might be a bit promotional regarding their blockchain community. Overall, there isn’t a lot of promotional content from the guest speakers.

4) Event Location, Transportation and Logistics Arrangement

Score: 3/5

The City University of Hong Kong is near Kowloon Tong Station, which is accessible. However, the event venue Lau Ming Wai Academic Building is located in the inner part of CityU, therefore participants who do not familiar to CityU may find it difficult to reach the venue. Nice refreshment for the participants as well.
