HTX Hacker Returns Stolen Ether, Rewarded with Bounty

The hacker who stole 5,000 Ether from Huobi Global's exchange HTX returned the funds on October 7, following a bounty offer from HTX. The exchange had offered a 5% bounty of the stolen funds if returned by an October 2 deadline. Upon the return of the stolen funds, the hacker was rewarded with a 250 ETH bounty, valued at approximately $410,000. The return of the funds and the bounty payout was publicly acknowledged by HTX adviser Justin Sun.
