Binance to Support Sei (SEI) and Harmony (ONE) Network Upgrades and Hard Forks

Binance, one of the world's leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced its support for the upcoming network upgrades and hard forks of Sei (SEI) and Harmony (ONE). According to Binance, these updates are aimed at ensuring the best possible user experience.

Sei (SEI) Network Upgrade

The Sei (SEI) network upgrade is scheduled to occur at the block height of 84,006,014, which is approximately at 2024-06-19 16:00 (UTC). To facilitate this upgrade, Binance will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals of tokens on the Sei (SEI) network starting from approximately 2024-06-19 15:00 (UTC).

Harmony (ONE) Network Upgrade and Hard Fork

The Harmony (ONE) network upgrade and hard fork will take place at the block height of 59,080,704, or approximately at 2024-06-20 00:07 (UTC). Similar to the Sei network upgrade, Binance will suspend deposits and withdrawals of tokens on the Harmony (ONE) network from approximately 2024-06-19 23:07 (UTC).

Impact on Trading

Despite the suspension of deposits and withdrawals during these periods, Binance has assured users that the trading of tokens on the Sei (SEI) and Harmony (ONE) networks will not be impacted. Binance will handle all technical requirements necessary for the upgrades, ensuring a seamless experience for all users.

Deposits and withdrawals for tokens on both networks will be reopened once the upgraded networks are deemed stable. Binance noted that no further announcement will be made regarding the resumption of these services.
